[there is a ninja sitting on a low branch of a tree outside the mess hall. he has a book in his hands and appears to be reading it. if you're observant enough, you might notice that his attention is not entirely on the book. It is in fact on you, yes, you as you walk near the tree... because there are dozens of trip wires littering the ground
