I'm just really impressed they've been managing to feed us all while using this broken-down equipment.

Hm, I never considered that. Then again, when I first arrived, the worry was more on the food supply itself.

Interesting times. Both in the positive and negative sense.

What was it like?

Messy and uncertain. Bear in mind, if nothing else, that we didn't have moogles or their equivalents in the beginning. And while camp and the director were as fond of giving out direct explanations as they are now, at least we can draw inferences at this point from past behaviour.

And at least now for the new arrivals, there are a lot of people who can more or less offer explanations and warnings, not to mention a calm attitude.

We considered a pamphlet early on, but decided that keeping it updated would be more effort than it was worth.
