Sezurki-Kai III
[For those of you who have been watching the lake and the shells this week, you may have noticed something ... kind of odd.
First, the shells have moved. They are clinging to your cabin roofs, up in your trees, perched on your windowsills. Some of them are even floating in midair, if you happen to be looking towards the Holic cabin and can't see Yuuko's shop. The few left on the beach are quickly scrabbling towards higher ground.
And then there's the lake. It's been draining back all morning, leaving spots of squelchy, vaguely radioactive mud and lots of beached zombie fish. Despite that, everything seems calm ... until the water decides to come back. Suddenly. And very violently. The wave hits the beach first, then moves on to lap at the cabins as well. Not quite strong enough to destroy anything, but there are probably a lot of newly wet people about, if you were too close to the lake today. And perhaps a few new rivers where there weren't any before.
Meanwhile, there is a very wet and bedraggled hobo-inna-tree. He looks just as surprised by this as anyone else.]
