[remember those funny seashells from a few days ago? well, they're still on the beach. except this time, there is a hobo sitting near them, keeping an eye on them, the lake itself, and on anyone who happens to walk by. he is also pecking at his keyboard very, very slowly.]

Not really. From what I know ... spirits of any kind only really hide when they're scared. Scared people don't often mean any harm ...
