[It seems to be getting darker earlier than it should. If you look up you'll notice there moon covering the sun. And as soon as the eclipse it's at it's peak, you feel a bit funny.
What could this mean?]

And the Pie-Maker, here, was
Alone in the venue.
He picked up the berries,
All rotted and old,
Only to find -- They were still very cold!
He tested again, once, twice, three times through,
But the berry stayed dead,
Not good as new!
He ran from the kitchen,
Perhaps to test Daisy.
The details of this are still a bit hazy.
He ran and he ran and then-- what luck!
He found his childhood sweetheart,
The girl named Chuck.
He stood there a moment, all silent and gasping,
And then reached out a hand...
...And found another, grasping.
Shock filled his face, and hers, in the eyes,
As they realized, the both of them,
She was alive.]

[and having said that, cups Ned's face in her hands and gently pulls his face closer to hers so they can share their first real kiss in some 20 years]

I don't think this is a dream. It's much too nice to be a dream. You're much too nice.
[Taking his hands and interlacing them into hers]

Then I think it's safe for us to both declare that it's not a dream and just enjoy every single second of this while we can. Do you think this is maybe a "for good" kind of thing? Oh, I just feel like I'm trembling from head to foot from the excitement of it all!

...I'm really overthinking this.
[More kissing and pulling her closer to him]

No, you're absolutely right that we should tread on the side of caution and continue to maneuver around the cracks instead of boldly and brashly stepping on them without a second thought for consequence. That would be foolish and reckless and altogether irresponsible of us.
[but her tone is so far from serious and she's already moving in for another kiss]

So so so so so foolish of us. But I kind of figure that the cracks are really a result of something that isn't happening right now, so maybe a construction crew has come through and paved them over so we only have to be sort of careful about them. So, maybe only half irresponsible.
[Kissing more! This time hesitating a second before putting a hand on her cheek and snaking it around to the back of her neck]

And maybe after all the dances of avoidance we've had do and the corduroy, sleigh-bell slippers you've had to endure we're due for a little date with foolishness anyway.
[sliding her hands from his neck down along his arms]

Well, when it's well thought out and deserved foolishness. Regular foolishness is just foolish.
[His hands are finding her waist and just generally enjoying the contact as he goes in to perpetuate the making-out portion of the evening]

Well I don't think anyone would argue against us that this is a special circumstances kind of foolishness that we're allowed to revel in, just this once.
