Well, it's been a while hasn't it? I'm so joyful to be celebrating soon the end of my third year in this hellish abyss. If I seem bitter, I am. Isn't it lovely? Wraeththu are a race born of humanity. We have both male and female reproductive organs, but are neither male nor female ourselves, merely choosing which we would prefer at the time during aruna... sex.

My mother was human, and until I was thirteen, I was human and male. I enjoy being har, but sometimes I wonder having been in this place so long.

Something like that, yes. For me, this was a more preferable option. In a world where there are so few of us, the situation seems detrimental at times.
