[At the mess hall today, you can probably smell something ~delicious~ being made. ... well, mostly delicious. there's kind of three cooks (and one angel) all together this evening, attempting to make pancakes. fortunately, one of the cooks is Watanuki. so they're not turning out too badly

Well, that would make sense! We're in the place to cook, so cooking would make sense. Usually cooking isn't that much of a spectacle, though!

Well, I'm teaching them. So mistakes are bound to happen.

Mistakes because you're the one teaching them? Or mistakes because they're the ones learning? Generally, learning implies some mistakes, but that doesn't mean they have to be spectacular mistakes, right?

M-mistakes in general! It's part of learning.

I suppose that's true, although learning goes better the less mistakes there are, right? So it would be better with less mistakes. Although, mistakes attract attention!

I know, I know! Look, just sit over there and wait for your pancakes.

But sitting and waiting is less -- aah, what? Wait for my pancakes?

[ghostduster]

Yes! You came here for food, right?

[throwawrench]

Well, yes, but not necessarily pancakes. I didn't know anyone was making pancakes, so I couldn't have come for pancakes, specifically, right?

[ghostduster]

... no. But if you want any, you'll have to wait.

[throwawrench]

Well, yes, since they need to cook before I could eat them, I would have to wait. And I don't really like waiting. But - if I just waited, there would be pancakes for me specifically?

[ghostduster]

Yes. There would. With any topping you like.

[throwawrench]

Really? Aah, that certainly sounds like a happy story for me, but why?

Because you're here, and we have extra.
