You're pretty quick to grasp that one--most newcomers seem to have a bit more trouble with the idea. I am likely a different species than whatever you're expecting, however.

Well, I suppose that would depend upon what line of work you're in. But for most, no, it's not.

Perhaps, perhaps not. "Security" could mean any number of things, depending on the context--my own usual undertaking has an aspect of security to it as well.
