Shinonome Kon, nice to meet you.

They say Edo specialized in fast food because of the busy lifestyle people lead there --in comparison of course. But because of that they developed ways to keep their food fresh and easy to make and eat quickly. Edo-style cuisine is said to either be saltier or sweeter than most Japanese cuisines. I'm not too bad at making it.

Yep. Around festival time you get loads of stalls set up with different kinds of food. Dried foods, grilled meats, ramen stands, sashimi and sushi carts...
