[ITP: battle nuns]

[Hakuren has a book open in front of him and a pen in hand for notes, but he's not actually paying attention to either, as he's sort of unfortunately riveted on the video his computer has decided to show him]

THIS CUT IS NOT REALLY HERE )

[you WOULD]

... What do you want?

*naturally :)*

Your little show there merely caught my eye.

It's hardly my show -- I'm surprised anything about the church would catch your eye, sir.

Oh? But it's always prudent to keep oneself informed, after all.

I think you'll recall that I've said something similiar, and was rebuffed.

I believe you will recall that you might believe what you will, so far as I am concerned.

I believe based on what I've learned, sir.

So long as it supports your arguments? If you think harder, you may remember that you only attempted to make demands of me; hardly similar at all to remarking on the prudence of gathering information, as you so claim. how convenient for you that you only remember that which lends itself to your beliefs in your own self-righteousness.

If you find this to be so self-righteous, then you could at least offer me some inkling of why you operate as you do. I'll remind you, though, that you were the one who attacked my good friend, and no matter how polite we might have been before, ultimately, I will choose my loyalties over social acquaintences.

I believe I told you, your "friend" is a criminal and fugitive, whom I have been given orders to recapture.

The church has housed criminals before, none of whom the military went after. What was his crime?

Assaulting a senior officer, followed by breaking out of confinement, various acts of violence including taking a hostage, and deserting.

And which of these crimes was so terrible that it warrants a greater manhunt than a thrice-convicted murderer?
