What! That's as ridiculous and unethical as . . . everything else in camp. And I don't know, but whoever he is, we can most likely conclude that he supports the Director.

That's a logical conclusion, yes. I think the lesson here is it's a waste of effort to try and go against her, crazy and unfair as it may seem. Everything works in her favor.
