If you choose to go down, some distance down the corridor is a door marked by a purple diamond. And on entering inside, you will see it's a ...shop. Full of junk

Excellent! I'm glad to hear it! Hmm, as for the clock, that depends how you mean it. It'll run, but within a few hours it's already losing time, I'm sorry to say.

That's working well enough! If I want real accurate time I can check a computer. Fun of a grandfather clock is listening to it and watching the gears go around!

How much do you want for the three? I'd offer a trade, but all I've got with me are little trinkets.

I'll agree with that much, for sure! Watch out, though, it "bong"s whenever it thinks it's at the hour. Hmm, for all three... well, to start with, what kind of currency do you have?

And what kind of trinkets?

I've got mostly American dollers, but I keep a little of the Barsburg Empire's currency. Not really sure it's legal tender around here, though! For trinkets it's just stuff I found lying around~ a pair of bootlaces, a uniform glove I lost the match too, dragon feathers, some earbuds, and an insignia button.

American dollars are just fine, and those trinkets sound fine to me! How about a mix? Dollars for the clock, trade of trinkets for the shoe and teakettles?
