[Kilik has a had a very bad day. You might have seen him managing to avoid many of the common camp catastrophes with some ease! Zombies? No sweat! Toucans bothering him? Who really wants to hear Kilik lecture about the improbability of toucans speaking telepathically? No one, especially no sane bird! But just as he decides to cool down, the ( Read more... )

[holds out a hand!]

You should be more careful next time.

[grabs hand and pulls self up and out in a movement that's a little inhuman, even if he is waterlogged]

I was being careful. Unfortunately, I wrongly trusted the camp for this moment.

Are you saying the camp pushed you in?

If that were the case, I believe I would have felt some invisible hands on me. I believe it was a structural problem.

I see.

I'd warn the governor of the area about the problem, so no one else falls in in the future. That would have been much more dangerous if you couldn't swim.

Thanks for the warning, but I don't see how people can consider this place cheerful. The people here are constantly mistreated and humiliated, and there's rampant discrimination against those zombies.

This place makes even Begnion seem cheerful.

Though the zombies are quite violent, they are put into a precarious position where they are forced to be around lifeforms that would provide them food without the action of eating being acceptable.

Begnion?

They eat people? I was under the impression they were part of a farming commune. At least, that's what one of them told me.

Begnion, the empire that borders Gallia. You've never heard of it?

I assumed from their consistent mention of "brains."

I never have.
