Millenniums of knowledge seem to amount to nothing, when you think on it... How much don't we know? Of course, the fundamental question that has yet to be answered piques my curiosity as well...

What is love?

((Out for the night! Will pick up later, poke me if there's a specific thread I haven't gotten to and you want to continue with it.))

...Well, it's really quite difficult to describe a feeling. But, ah... Overwhelming concern for another person, perhaps? Though it really depends upon what sort of love you're speaking of...

Perhaps. Oh, all sorts. Whichever one you'd be more comfortable discussing.

Well, there's love of the familial variety, and the love one feels toward a dear friend, which, ah, seem to be distinguished by the sort of obligation one feels to these different sorts of people. And then there's romantic love, which seems another thing altogether.

Is there a reason for your query, sir?

Merely curious.

Discussion with good company is always in fashion, regardless of topic or if there's even one at all!

Ah, well, that's certainly a worthy goal.

...Oh, do forgive me. My name is Eleanor Campbell.

Ah, I've been impertinent as well. Jin Uzuki.

Shall I address you as Miss Eleanor or Miss Campbell?

Miss Campbell, if you please. *laughs slightly* The nomenclature at this camp wreaks havoc on one's sense of proper address, doesn't it?

It does, although I can't say that I mind. It's very interesting.

Yes, isn't it? It's really quite fascinating, being able to speak to all these different kinds of people.
