[gay tea party!]

[What with the blizzard and all, it wouldn't seem as though yet another outdoor tea party would be the best plan of action. Somewhere in camp, though, a new tree has sprung into being, fully formed, like Athena from the head of Zeus, and a clear area of sufficient size has surrounded it.

Please. I really could do with some human interaction after almost two weeks.

I don't believe we've met. I'm Tatsumi Seiichirou. Are you another counselor here?

[takes a seat, then]

Ahhhh, nothing quite so ... responsible. Merely an ... ordinary medicine-seller who wandered in by mistake.

There are a few different types brewed -- green, oolong and Early Grey. Which would you prefer?

Wandering in being much easier to do than wandering out, unfortunately.

Such an unusual tree . . .

Yes, it is... unique. I actually don't remember ever seeing it around before. And it's not something you'd think you'd miss.

Would you care to join us?

No, it's something people would have to be complete idiots to miss.

. . . I'm not that social.

Which doesn't mean at all that they wouldn't miss it, necessarily.

Would you simply care for something to eat or drink, then?

What the hell? I definitely didn't intend to end up here. And that cannot possibly be any sort of tree found in nature.

In my experience, it is less ... what you intend to have happen that counts, but ... what this place itself wishes.

... I find the tree rather ... interesting, myself.

Surely that is not natural.

samplemywares April 5 2008, 01:54:30 UTC
Ahhh.

But who is to say what is "natural" and what is "not," in a place like this?

Reply

virtueally April 5 2008, 01:55:39 UTC
People who understand the definition of the word.

Ahh, but by whose definition do we operate?

Hi, um...what's your name again?

Ah, no, no, Mikage-kun.

I'm simply an ordinary medicine-seller ... you may refer to me as such.
