[somewhere in one of camp's fabled open spaces, possibly under a tree, there's a boy. sitting on the ground in front of him is a candle. the flame of said candle is running through a gamut of colors, heights, and temperatures, even though the boy doesn't seem to be doing anything at all besides looking at it

[la la la my candle it is shiny and absorbing of my attention. the flame goes blue-white, like a blowtorch]

Yeah, he seems to understand it pretty well, even though what he does is a bit different.

That makes sense. Talents need practicing, after all. Healers are pretty rare, where I come from.

I don't know why people end up with the Talents they do. There just don't seem to be that many.

I'm an Empath, Talent-wise. There's just...a few other things that make it a little more complicated. What I seem to be good at naturally are healing and understanding patterns.
