[It's reasonably warm out today! Still sweater weather, but the sun is shining, the birds are conspiring, the zombies are thawing, and several patches of carnivorous looking flowers have popped up around the Mess Hall.
In a field just off the main path through camp, there are picnic tables and board games! Stratego, Clue, Risk, Scrabble, Life, checkers, Guess Who?, Trivial Pursuit, Pokemon Monopoly -- you name it, it's... currently being ignored by a boy in a sleeveless tunic who is completely and totally absorbed in reading the rules of chess off the back of the box.]
Rook goes... that way, and that way. King is basically useless... and the knight moves like a drunkard. Easy enough.
