...actually, you might not. But you will probably notice the smell. It adds to the general swamp stink slightly, and hints of someone who's using an interesting variety of medicinal creams to cure an even more interesting variety of skin conditions, with limited success.
And unless you happen to notice him now, sheltering out of the way beside a cabin and nursing a particularly manky dog-end of a cigarette, that'll probably be about it. Don't fault him, he's just acting in the best traditions of the old Night Watch.]
