As for weird things I've seen, how about those walruses in the onsen? It's the middle of winter, and the Arctic creatures are hanging out in the one place furthest from their natural environment!

You noticed them too? I keep wondering if there's anyone here who is a walrus whisperer so we can ask why they're there. Because that's weird.

Hahah, yeah, they're hard to miss -- like lots of things here. And that'd be great if there was one, because it's really bugging me now... Maybe it's their way of protesting?
