I've lived my life by somebody else's rules too long to want to go back to that. Uh-uh NO way.

Most of us keep up the social norms, but there aren't that many rules.

Social norms can be more dangerous then laws...

Where I from, nobody obeys the law. Its the social norm not to obey the law, and if you do, well you are a goody-two-shoes and are easy prey to get picked on.

The only "laws" here are the ones handed down by the Director, and she has her own way of enforcing them.

And that doesn't set well with me because whenever somebody says "don't" I just want to do it all the more often.
