I think I might lock myself in my lab for the end of October. I'm not keen on getting eaten. Been there, all but did that, still feeling twinges on bad days.

On the other hand, baseball stories! I'd tell one of my own but I doubt it'd be as funny.

Oh, trust me--plenty of other ways t'die besides gettin' eaten.

It's, uh, it's not exactly a first-hand account, y'understand...

I've personally seen quite a few. But getting eaten is one of the worst. Not that it matters after you're dead.

None of the happy ones are.

I like t'think that it's relevant to the whole becomin'-dead process.

Y'sound like a Red Sox fan...

I can't argue that. But I'd rather get tortured to death than have my intestines eaten by Magog larva. Personal thing.

I am from Boston.

See, I'm an anti-larva-in-general kinda guy, myself.

Thought so... Nobody else equates baseball with the total absence of happiness quite like Red Sox fans.

Parasites of all kinds are less than pleasant. But nothing beat the Magog. You die knowing you just killed your entire family and friends too. Unless they're kind enough to *miming pulling a trigger at his head*

It's less the game and more people getting crucified in the cheap seats that ruins the happy mood.

That's life in the fast lane for you.

And New York and pretty much anywhere controlled by the Dragans, aaand that would be all of Earth.

That's why I try to carpool.

You must be from one of those fun alternate universes.

There are perks! Coffee, hot showers, your own quarters. Oh, and breathable air, that's a biggie.

Probably. According to my math I'm from about 3000 years or so in the future. If people start talking about genetic engineering as the way of the future? Get the hell outta dodge.

Kinda went out of style with the advent of space travel but if you want to travel planetside [lol planetary transport systems go here!].

Shame nobody else will. Me, I'm proud to be an un-modified human.
