There's been a lot of damage done to the forest, and I've got saplings and shovels. We can't allow the natural environment to continue to suffer under these conditions.

Let's get to work on fixing the damage!

That may be, but you're tearing up the homes of all the local animals. Many of which likely only come around and into the camp area because of their decreasing habitat.

Local animals are evil mostly. An' I think the forest saves!

Animals aren't evil; they don't have a sense of right and wrong like humans do. They simply do what they need to to survive; in this case, scavenging from the camp.

That's just their survival instinct speaking.
