*Heather is sitting at a picnic table, breaking in a new sketchpad by drawing a monster. With the way her head works, this probably isn't the smartest thing to do when she's been depressed lately

Yeah. And I probably should have known better than to make up a new monster now.

Well, the critical thing is what it actually does, I suppose...

Nothing right now, since it's not done yet. Once I go to sleep I know my imagination will end up finishing it, but hopefully people will stop showing up to gawk before then and I can toss it into the otherworld without anybody noticing.

Would you like some sort of drape to cover and obscure it then? Or do you think that would just attract more attention?

It's okay. I think I've got everyone believing it's camp messing with my sketchbook instead of really connecting it to me, which is the important thing.

They're Usagi's suggestion. I figured I might as well go along with it, since they make it a little less scary to anyone passing by and adds to the "magic sketchbook" impression a little.

By the way, Anita might be coming to stay with us for a couple of days. Or at least eating with us, to make sure she gets fed while she's tiny.

Just be careful someone doesn't try and appropiate the 'magic sketchbook' for themselves.

Deaged to very young. She said the no one else had taken her in yet, and I wanted to make sure she'd be okay.

I know you wouldn't, I'd just rather you didn't have the annoyance of any attempts in the first place.

Ah, fair enough. Site her in the basement? Or should we move the bed up from there into the ground floor?

I don't think anyone who's wandered by would try anyway, but if one of them does it would at least be good to know that they're willing to try robbing me.

Bringing it up would probably be better. I don't know if she'd be afraid of the dark or not, and, even if she wouldn't usually be, a basement's even spookier than normal darkness.

I'll handle that side of things then. Probably best that she doesn't stay down there with Bonta-Robbie-kun anyway.
