I read in a book here that it's traditional to tell ghost stories at campfires while on summer camp. Should we do that? The fires seemed to appear out of nowhere

This was when I was learning to be a Paladienne - all the earthbound dead would tell me stories. One was about a boy - well, he was almost an adult - and he was looking for something. He didn't know what, just that he had to find it. One day, because he wasn't paying attention, he was killed. But still he hadn't found what he was looking for. So every day, he would wander the streets, looking for something.
Pretty chilling, huh. But let me tell you, there's this real nasty ghost lurking around our capital; the Masked Madman of Malkuth, right? He only ever shows up on nights like these, and all any witnesses can remember is seeing a disembodied face in the dark... bright white and floating, and nothing else-- but the glint of a knife!
Those who live to tell the tale only tell of two things: those black, empty eyes and the swing of a disembodied knife. What they don't know is that they've been marked: the night of the next full moon...
