So...

Where does camp electricity come from, anyway?

((Sorry guys, vanishing for awhile! I'll pick up when I get back!))

The lines all lead back into the ground.

The Louisiana power grid, perhaps.

...where's that?

Louisiana is where this camp is physically located.

...that part I knew. But if we're on a main grid, there must be one of those city boxes with all the breakers around, somewhere.

I don't know how to split existing lines.

When Clark built the hotel, camp finished the wiring and plumbing for him, as I remember.

((Back in a half-hour or so; food.))

There's generators in the underground labs.

That would explain why all the lines I traced go right into the dirt... how do I get down to the generators?

Run a line to where some friends of mine want to build a new cabin.

I like to imagine it involves a basement full of cats in fuzzy slippers walking on shag carpeting. Or maybe several basements.

...wouldn't the cats just eat the sli----why am I talking about this?

They'd probably chew on them, but I also like to think that, if there is a basement full of cats in slippers, the cats would be on a fairly steady diet of electric eels. And you're the one who brought it up.

I did not bring up the fuzzy slippers.
