[The tables have grown to a little larger than they were at the end of last month's barbecue, the food is plentiful as ever, and the sign warning you against going into the medical hut unless you like getting dismembered by temporarily-murderous faceless nurses is in place. Go time!]

I bet every world with television worth its weight has an Iron Chef at some point. Being able to outcook the other chefs isn't the same as being able to come up with the best meals for superheroes or being a superhero who does a little kitchen work.

That's true. Plus I'd have no end of guest stars -- and hey, I bet getting superheroes sharing their cooking tips'd go a long way to showing people we're all on the same page here.

Food's a great equalizer like that. A lot easier to trust someone who could crush you like a bug if you know what kind of sauce they like in their stir-fry.
