*A very dishevelled girl rushes into camp. Her clothes are torn and she appears to have lost a fight with a machete, what with the amount of blood she's covered in. If you look closely (and quickly), you might see a rib or two poking through her skin.*
This isn't... Oh crap, where am I?

Um, thanks.

*Presents towel. Also, a bottle of water to wash up with.*

*takes, washes off most of the... mud. Yeah, that's it. Mud.* Thanks again. Do you know how I can get back to the road? I climbed a tree, but I couldn't see it.

*knows very well the difference between blood and mud, thank you, but feeling you out says that you're not connected to The Otherworld so who cares?* Well, if you went out the front gate, and it's the same as when I came here, you get back to pavement about a mile down the dirt road leading here. Then it's about a fifteen minute drive to the closest town. Unfortunately, it's not actually possibly to get out.

*thanks for keeping that to yourself~* B-but you just said... Why, is the front gate locked? I can probably climb it.

*I'm always a good person to go to if you want someone who doesn't give a damn what kind've weirdness you're up to* You know the song Hotel California? It's kind've like that.

*my new BFF~* Y-yeah. That's not possible. Is it?

There's a barrier. Look up at the sky hard, and you can see the shimmer of it. It helps if you move your head a little while you're trying.

*looking and moving her head* Oh, yeah. Wait - are we gonna run out of air?

Nah, things can get in just fine. It's just that they can only get out if the Director lets them.
Reply
Oh yeah, I see what you mean. Who's the Director?
Reply
The woman in charge. She keeps herself hidden away, so we can't get at her.
Reply
So this Director controls who leaves, but nobody can get to her... to ask?
