*Tim's been hiding out in a chair in the corner of the hospital lobby/waiting area. On the corner table next to him are some tiny fiddly tools and a new communicator he was making final tweaks on when he dozed off. He's got his legs pulled up to his chest and his arms and head resting on his knees, and he still has a fiddly tool in one hand...

You could probably actually come up and poke him before he actually wakes up, which is just ridiculous.*
