There are so many new arrivals again . . . it is time, I think, to explain some things once more.
I am one of those in this camp called 'Nobodies'. As far as I have seen, all in this place who are like me are also from my 'world', so none of you are familiar, I don't doubt, with the way a Nobody is created, or what we are.
It is simple, and yet very difficult to understand. Humans have three parts, you see. A body, a soul, and a heart. Each piece is important; they have their roles, and to miss any one is . . . a difficulty. Without the body, a person is dead. Without the soul one may as well be dead, for there is no comprehension of the world, no . . . spark of life at all. Without the heart . . . ah. Without a heart, there is no true being. When the heart is lost, the body dissolves, the soul discorporates. Without the heart, the person who was is lost.
But for some souls with a strong will who have lost their hearts, it is not the end. The desire not to die, so strong, the will to remain - it can draw the body and soul back together, perhaps reshaped from what it was, but breathing, thinking, understanding.
And still without a heart.
That is a Nobody. Not all seem so human, but all think, reason, plan . . . perhaps, hope. The less human Nobodies are not monsters, though they may look disturbing, and respect for them would be appreciated by those whose care they are in. The symbol of the Nobodies--
