Oh, you're with those guys, huh. I don't think I've met a 'Moses', but I know the other two, right.

Yes, they're all like family to me. Actually, I haven't seen Moses myself yet, either. But I hope that before too long, we can all leave together.

Hah, it's pleasant to have friends from home around, right? I know I wouldn't enjoy camp nearly as much without Guy here to do all my work help me settle in.

[moerines]

I don't know what I'd do if Senel hadn't been here. I haven't met anyone named Guy. Is he a good friend of yours?

[inpignation]

Oh, I've no doubt such a friendly young lady would have been fine; they may not look it, but there's a lot of good people here. ♪

Oh, sure! --well, sort of. He's a good friend and one of my lords, huh.

Everyone I've met so far has been very nice! Even people I've hardly spoken to will play games or tell me about themselves.

One of your lords?

It's one of the charms of this place, huh. Everyone - or at least most - seem reasonably willing to lend a hand in case of trouble, too.

Oh, well. Don't tell anyone, but I'm an Emperor back home. But I'm incognito for the duration of my stay, know how I mean?

Oh! You are? . . . I'm actually a leader myself back home, but I know Maurits will take good care of the village for me. He's much more experienced and wise than I am.

Hah, interesting! But you said 'village', right - you're a self-contained kingdom?

[moerines]

There aren't many of my people left, and we've been scattered a bit, but most of us live in one village now.

[inpignation]

Ah! A free state sort of deal, then; not bad, not bad. I know a bunch of guys like that back home. Nothing but respect for them, huh.

[moerines]

What's your empire like?

[inpignation]

--hah! That's a good question to ask right now, huh. We had some trouble over the last couple years and we're still figuring out what 'normal' is, but from what I hear everyone's prospering nicely.

And between you and me, I think we've got better beaches than the other guys. ♪

[moerines]

We've had our share of problems where I come from too, but I think we're all finally moving forward and learning how to get along. I hope I can get back soon to see it.

I love the beach! I couldn't visit for a few years because I had an allergy to seawater and the breeze, but I've gotten over it, and I miss playing in the sand . . .

[inpignation]

You 'got over' an allergy?

-- hah, well! Our capital's just off the coastline, you see. If I fancied a swim I could just leap out the palace, but I'd get a Look from my council if I tried it.

Ahhh, it's a long story . . . it wasn't exactly an allergy, but that's a good way to think of it.

It sounds beautiful. How long have you been an emperor?
