I will have a better blog update prepared soon, but in the meantime if everyone could take the time to fill in these polls, I would appreciate it.

Poll for campers only )

Because I felt like it!

Do you regret it now?

Absolutely not.

Who is your spouse? I should have asked that in the poll, but it was an omission.

Was I the first one to answer?

You might be, Momoko-san! I'm hoping everyone will help out to find a solution.

But there's really nothing we can do to keep the audience from marrying us, is there?

I hope they will be open to polite discussion.

If I was going to marry anyone, it would probably be a counsellor. Anything else would be weird.

As for expressing feelings...somehow I doubt the Director would allow us to FedEx courtship gifts to the person of our choice.

Possibly more coherent thoughts tomorrow.

Because the campers are too young?

There are many other ways to express feelings than with gifts.

Thank you very much for your participation!

For the most part...

Yes, but most of those are also beyond our reach. I mostly think it would creep the players out too much if anyone seriously flirted with their characters.

You're welcome!

It's easy to enter into a non-committed marriage in camp. ^.^;

But what is the reason for marriage if not commitment?

Theoretically, I believe audience cannot have a chance for a committed relationship like campers can, since interactions are limited by the time-space continuum. We're not really there in camp, so any interaction we have with campers is limited to if and when they want to interact with people. ^^;

It is hard to establish a long-lasting relationship if you don't know how they are completely. Some may be able to do that, but it's not for me.

[Of course, this doesn't stop me from teasing characters from canons I like - Trowa when he first came to camp, for example. (=^.^=)]

That's true of everyone, isn't it? When Ando-kun doesn't want to talk to me, I'm hurt, but I can't break down his door and force him to talk to me.

I...don't remember who married me.

It doesn't seem as if it has a very strong impact on anyone's life.

I don't think it does. I think it's just more of a surprise then anything. Nobody's expecting someone to yell "Married!" at you when you first arrive, after all.

Yes, I think if we could convince them to start conversations first, it would make everyone more comfortable and receptive to interaction.
