Okay, day before Thanksgiving. Who all wants to help with the cooking?

Oh, and does anyone who celebrates the holiday back home have any traditional family dishes it just doesn't feel like Thanksgiving without? Can't promise anything if there ends up being fifty different things people want, but we can try.

Well... I don't know much about the kinds of things that are cooked on that kind of holiday, but I wouldn't mind volunteering my services. It's an American holiday, right?

It's really a 'you can't go wrong as long as what you make is edible' type of holiday. You can look around here if you want to see some of the sort of things that're traditional. Yes, it's all about stuffing your face with the people you love and being grateful for everything you have.

Ah...it looks like fun. Elaborate... I wonder if there'll be a celebration here...I'd cook for that, too.

...really.

That's what we're cooking for, actually. We did it the same way last year, with a bunch of campers getting together to make everything.

Uh-huh.

Mashed sweet potatoes and a large pumpkin pie.

I'll be glad to help out as well, should you require it.

I'll put those on the list.

Any help's great. The more people join in, the less work it'll be for everyone. I think that's a lot better than making sad faces at the chefs and hoping they'll do all the work for us.

I should imagine that those sad faces would be effective for only a short time. Are you sure that the cooking staff are fine with a whole group of people in their kitchen?

We aren't all in there. Wouldn't really be enough room for anyone to get anything done if there was. Luckily, there're plenty of kitchens in camp.

Green jello with carrot slices, but on second thought, I think I'll be okay without it.

I can see why you'd want to break that tradition.

It's actually not that bad. If you compare it to the stuff with grapes in it.

I just don't really like jello. I mean, it's made out've ground up skin and bones, but it's all clear and jiggly. Weird.

Want lots of room to stuff yourself tomorrow?

That's the plan!

I look forward to having your cooking again, Heather-chan!~

I cook every day. You could stop by sometime and beg for leftovers, if you want it so much.

I was planning on making my Mom's apple pie, but I can help out with the rest too.
