I think they look rather difficult to tie. But maybe it's because I never had to use them.

Thank you, too. It's the standard uniform for formal special occasions on my ship. It hung on a dresser on my door this morning.

Not exactly. I was fortunate enough to be invited to my Home Ec teacher's ceremony. She'd made the gown herself--it was simply beautiful and I looked so out of place in just my school uniform.

I see. So you are familiar with the proceedings? I think weddings on a ship are quite different from the traditional ones here. Also of course all the different races have different wedding traditions.

Well, it was western-style, so I expect to see something similar. Not exactly precise--Japan isn't really thorough in the practices they borrow.
