Guess.

*It seems camp's resident population of florists has been hard at work. The chapel is all decked out in ribbons and flower arrangements, and the finishing touches are just being made. The doors have been opened, the candles lit, and the groom is either trying to suffocate himself or is tying his tie.*

... damnit stupid tie.

Wouldn't miss this for anything. Feeling well?

*And the girl? looks lovely, I must say.*

*...Oh Kon.*

I've no water--we wouldn't want to risk hiccups. But remember to get a brief bit of air before we begin, okay? It'll do you some good. As much as swamp gas does anyone, anyway.

*totally sneaking up on you here*

Ties are a bit complicated.

*1/10th ninja. But we'll let you have that, for now.*

They only become as complicated as the person who may be wearing them.

*I can abuse outfit choices whut*

*hey, he is trying, please pretend you didn't see him coming from a mile, thanks*

I think they look rather difficult to tie. But maybe it's because I never had to use them.

That's ... a beautiful dress.

*gala uniform here, no tie, but pretty nevertheless and shhh it doesn't look like a dress*

So I'm seeing. Humanity has become smarter over the ages, then?

Ah, thank you. You look very handsome, I must say. It suits you well.

We like to pretend that we are.

Thank you, too. It's the standard uniform for formal special occasions on my ship. It hung on a dresser on my door this morning.

Certainly a fun exercise, I'm sure. I fortunately had everything laid out a week few days previous--I didn't want to run a chance of having to fend off certain animal invasions, after all. The squirrels took a shine to the outfit.

*oh why certainly, accepting that offer with grace.*

Is this your first wedding?

That was very thoughtful of you. I never thought much about clothing, I would have gone in my normal uniform, compared to what most people wear here it still looks rather formal.

*well~ let's go then!*

Captain Picard sometimes holds ceremonies on board but I never witnessed one so far, no. What about you?

I'm certain everyone lives by their regulations--I was simply lucky enough to find something so nice in the batch that Ari gave me to replace my missing clothes.

*Surely, lalala~*

Not exactly. I was fortunate enough to be invited to my Home Ec teacher's ceremony. She'd made the gown herself--it was simply beautiful and I looked so out of place in just my school uniform.

You certainly did. It fits you perfectly.

*as I said to Kon, not paying attention at all to where we sit*

I see. So you are familiar with the proceedings? I think weddings on a ship are quite different from the traditional ones here. Also of course all the different races have different wedding traditions.

Oh...it's no--I...thank you....

*That's fine since it means she can ever-so-subtly direct them toward something that keeps her well within range of Kon and Kabuto's clone should something actually go bad.*

Well, it was western-style, so I expect to see something similar. Not exactly precise--Japan isn't really thorough in the practices they borrow.
