[Meanwhile in Boys' Cabin 10...]

Hey, anybody know if I should hang up the fake giant cobwebs when we've already got some in the rafters? These don't look spooky!

((Feel free to stop by and boggle as Bart has taken to decorating the cabin for Halloween. There are enough ghost/skeletons/cheerful pumpkins outside to warrant peeking in.))

Oh, this is for that scary holiday that's coming up? Clark had told me a little bit about it. He said something about digging faces into pumpkins?

Yeah, jack-o-lanterns! Halloween's the best holiday because it means you get to dress up and run around at night ringing doorbells and people give you candy for it!

Dress up like we did for the Screw Dance? Is Ari going to order some extra candy for the running part?

As scary stuff! Y'know, witches, vampires, Frankenstein, giant broccoli...

Since we're in camp it's not the same but we're going to have a big Halloween-slash-birthday party for it! And do stuff like bob for apples!

Scary stuff? But it won't be real, right? I'm still having nightmares from that axe-lunatic!

Well, that sounds like fun. How does one "bob for apples?" Do we even have anyone in camp named Bob?

Nah, just scary like this! *holds up a ghost which is really just a sheet with a basketball for the head* See? Pretend scary unless you've got a phobia of white sheets or something...

Oh! There's this tub with apples and water in it. You hafta grab an apple without using your hands and that's how you bob because normally I stick my whole head in trying to reach for one!

Oh, I can handle stuff like that! No, only if they're not satin, or less than 1000-thread count.

Well, that sounds... unsanitary fun. I can just imagine you doing that, Bart!

I could count the threads?

There's also telling spooky stories and making s'more monsters too! And the regular birthday party stuff too, I bet.

... or you could just read the tag.

W-wait a minute. Why would we want to make more monsters? Wasn't last weekend enough for everyone? I-I don't think I like this halloween stuff, Bart!

*already finished counting* It's 1,000.

Not more monsters, 'smore monsters! They're pudgy ghosts made out of marshmallows you eat!

You're something else, Bart!

Oh, that sounds a lot better than what I was thinking! Heh! Maybe this scary holiday won't be so bad after all, right?
