So I do not have to continually repeat myself...

Though I may be coming off as a bit redundant anyway; my apologies, Chloe.

Many of you here already know me. My name is Lu Xun, styled Boyan. Not "Tannenbaum".

My first arrival date was the sixteenth of May in the year two thousand and five. My departure date was the fifth of September in the year two thousand and six, alongside many others from my time. My return date was the sixth of October in the same year; one month and one day after my departure. The return was voluntary, and my reasons are on a strictly need-to-know basis. Most of you do, to put it bluntly, do not need to know.

The main question on most minds, I'm certain, was how I was able to escape, and if I would be able to duplicate the circumstances. To answer both questions, my means of escape were provided by a close ally from my own time, whose technological expertise far surpassed my own. I do not know how she was able to do it, and I would not be able to duplicate it. I apologize.

Those who left with me were my allies. Those I would consider to be close friends. Perhaps they were friends of yours, as well. Do know that those who went in my trip arrived home safely and are doing well. Though I was not given any specific messages to bring with me, it is my belief that they all send their best regards.

As for the one who enabled our escape... well. She went elsewhere. I've every confidence that she was able to make it safely to her intended destination, and is now becoming just as feared in the future as she was in my time.

Though my experiences have been quite unique thus far, I would not expect to be treated differently for it. I have been gone quite some time despite the short gap in this time period, and while I may be more experienced and a bit... calmer, I am still the same Xun you've known before.

It's nice to see all of you again.
