After having Shin permanently damage my previous laptop - should anyone be suffering from computer problems of the malicious kind, I suggest showing the computer to him - and my replacement seems to be ... over-functioning? I'm not entirely sure how to describe it, other than for five minutes my computer was connected to something it could not be connected to, because the Cortex doesn't exist yet.
