[It's midnight, and for once, Camp Fuck You Die is peaceful, and silent, save for small, nighttime sounds. Among these include the occasional snore from a cabin, or a creak of a sentient tree. Among these are the heavy, but quiet footfalls of Carrot as he proceeds along a beat of his own design, checking for dangers and crime, but as mentioned, ( Read more... )

What ho, good ca-- oh, good evening Buffy! What are you doing awake?

Well, the ringing helped, but I'm usually awake around now. Vampire Slayers keep weird hours.

You're gonna get your ass kicked. I mean this in a friendly, worried way.

But I don't have a donkey, Buffy.

...Right. Um. Get mad and try to hurt you.

Yes, some people are not taking too kindly to the procedure... At least it reminds me a little of home.

If you wake people up to tell them nothing's wrong at home then yeah, I can see them having a pretty similar reaction.

Well, they used to be mad, and now it's only mild complaining, so perhaps the camp will condition itself?

Have you ever though about just telling people if there's a problem and staying quiet when there's not?

It'd probably get you a lot less shot.

...You use moogles, right? Or something?

I don't know what moogles are.

*gestures to moogle* This is a moogle. They're in every cabin. If you talk to it, it'll ask if you want to save your game. Saving your game means if something bad happens to you--you get killed somehow, basically, it'll bring you back to life. It's not something that happens much, but...if you're okay with it, it's good to be on the safe side.

That sounds very useful!

Er...

Do you think I could use it now?
