A...actually, that does seem to be what happened this time. But normally when things like this happen, it's because of viruses.

There are, um, cures, though, and the viruses seem to wear off on their own before too long if you don't like any of the cures!

Viruses don't turn you into skunks. Viruses are when you get a runny nose and a temperature and things.

Well, that's true most places! But the viruses here are... different.

Or... I guess they might not really be viruses, but that's what we call them.

Oh, the barrier? I... I'm afraid nobody's found a way to get rid of that yet, and things like viruses usually happen to them if they try.

People have found a way out on their own sometimes, though.
