OUTVOTE EXPLANATIONS:

Sosuke - I nearly peed myself when I saw a Sosuke app. Seriously. You had serious brownie points for apping SOSUKE. However, this doesn't sound like Sosuke. The comment about the gay guys NOOOOOOO really turned me off. I do remember one epsiode of FMP where Sosuke admitted to "kissing many men" (LOL CPR), and didn't really see wtf TEH GAY was. I want a Sosuke, but this app did not get love.

Shadow - AHHHHHHH SPAZZZZ I LOVE SHADOW but this also didn't sound like him. T_T Too much spaz. Way too much spaz. Sorry!

Alphonse the second - It was a tough call, but it came down to "Which one was more pleasing to my eye?" I don't mind -san, -chan, -kun, -sama suffixes when appropriate. Random "nii-san" when "Brother" would suffice? Frowny face. :(

The outs, and explanations (which will hopefully be helpful this time x_x;)

Sousuke: I think it was mainly the strike-out stuff that put me off, although the overall tone wasn't serious enough for Sousuke either. I understand that characters can have inner feelings, but Sousuke always struck me as very heart-on-sleeve. He says what he means, nothing else.

Shadow: Too short to get much of a feel for it. Too much yelling for Shadow. He's more of a brooder, to my knowledge.

Kaname: Not aggro enough. And too much of a focus on her own canon.

Alphonse #1: I think I just liked the second one better. It had more of an innocent overtone.

Now to get back to my fight.

Tatewaki Kuno - In, it was definitely funny and seemed in character from what I read in the canon.

Sousuke Sagara - Out. While I love your character choice and was giddy with excitement when seeing your application, the humor doesn’t really stick out. Really, the humor I got from your app was that it made me think back to Fumoffu episodes, and those were funny. Also, the abuse of the strike option made me cry a bit.

Shadow the Hedgehog - Out. Umm…There was a lot of random canon references that bothered me a bit, but not too much. I guess in the end, the thing that got me was the lack of humor that I felt from the application? I might just be humor blind of course.

Meer Campbell - In. Oh my God…the beauty. Especially since we see her conceited side in recent episodes. I think it was really well done and…just hilarious.

Kaname Chidori - Out. While I completely fangirl over Full Metal Panic characters, as stated above, I couldn’t really get a feel for this app? …I wonder if it’s just me being weird again, but yeah. Also, the spelling

I voted in Tetra and Meer, though I might need to check again in the morning to see if I change my mind about some of the out votes when I'm wide awake.

Kuno, if you don't get in I'd definately reapp. I almost voted you in just for the last two paragraphs, but I didn't because the beginning didn't really seem in character to me. It didn't really seem... dramatic? enough for him. Then his drooling over all the girls rubbed me the wrong way, because from what I remember (although it has been a while) even though he couldn't decide between Akane and Ranma, his eye didn't stray from them that easily.

Chidori I might also vote for in a reapp, but the fact that she seemed to be trying to start up a new storyline in her app (with the lab-bound zombie girl) rubbed me the wrong way.

Chidori isn't a very assertive character when left on her own, and I didn't want to write her just spazzing out about how the camp is not normal but everyone acts like it is. Didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable about new storyline.

Basically the same as Haru. Also, Chidori-apper, I noticed some large grammar errors (tenses!) in the canon section as well as the app itself. I still voted you in, but that might be one thing you want to look into fixing if you reapp. ^^ Beta readers are love.
