I have seen evil, and I know its name

One-legged squats. Whah? How does one accomplish such a feat? I made multiple attempts, with the unemployed leg in the air, or toe against the floor, and finally pressed against the top of the other foot, which seemed to work. In all three cases, it was hellish. I will clench at my desk tomorrow, just to feel the sweet pain.

I need something to keep my mind away from work, anyway. I have made a slightly irrational choice, but I know it's for the best: I am not returning to my job after France/Spain in two weeks. I can't go back anymore. I will not let them suck the life out of me anymore. And I won't let myself postpone my fate any longer. I'm meant to go on amazing adventures. And write about them. It won't happen if I allow the day-to-day to continue.

More vile than one-legged squats is the thought of not letting myself pursue the life I've envisioned.
