A friend of mine was just telling me about a friend of hers who recently married a man who killed his wife. It was second degree murder, committed after he found her...exploring other options...and he served twenty years in prison. The couple is now ardently religious, and happily married.
I gotta say, in a similar situation, I think I would forever find myself using such news against him. "Oh, I get in trouble for not washing the dishes, but you can kill people?"
"Oh, my conversation is so boring you can hardly stay awake? But you can put people to sleep-- permanently?"
