A cousin of my mother's did all the research already. I mean like an insane amount of research. I am the eleventh generation in the United States since 1740, and she's done all the research on everyone. I don't have the faintest idea of how you do all of this, it is so much work.

Part of it is lists like this, where its like Aaron Kanarr, son of Jahn, son of Andreas, son of Johann, son of Abraham, etc.

That is so cool. I'm a history buff and I'm a big war buff to boot. It's neat somebody in your family tree fought in the Civil War and that your family has deep line in the early stages of the nation. I would guess my mom & dad's family members were probably farmers or something back in there countries. I'm the first of my family born in the U.S. so I gotta do something grand or at least look busy.

I think we are all busy. You, Nikki, and Jannie with your books and me with my paintings(if I ever get started again). And let's not forget all of those little things in life where time gets eaten up in traffic, cleaning house, etc
