Just stuff
Saturday I went to the wool gathering at Youngs with Kelsey. I had a blast, though I think she had less fun than me. I got the tiniest lucet cord maker I've ever seen and have started working on it already. After that we went to the mall and did some shopping. I love shopping with her, she somehow always finds the best places and sales.
Sunday I put together the fish tank stand for the new 55 gallon tank and started putting gravel and decorations in it. Have a bunch more things to get before I'm ready to add water but it's started and I'm thrilled.
Today was Physical Therapy again and that's going better. I'm getting more mobility; can bend my knee a lot more now. Still not getting it all the way straight. Still walking with a limp and lifting my hip rather than bending my knee, but I know what I'm doing now and am working on it. They put me on the treadmill infront of a mirror today. Yuck. But necessary.
Also saw the Rheumatologist today and he was pleased with what the surgeon did. It's possible that the surgeon just fixed the arthritis in my knee. I can still develope osteoarthritis, but if he took enough of the lining out, I might not have rheumatiod attack that knee again... which would be amazing.
It looks like I may be approved for a mobility assistance chair and I'll be getting that in October to help me with school and other things that are just too much walking for me. I *may* try an event or two with it, but only if I'm feeling really bad. I'm not sure I'm ready for my friends to see me that way, even if I may need it. I have a hard enough time pulling the cane out.. a chair seems worse.
Just lots of little things going on, but generally positive.
