Real: Born in June 10, 1978. Plays guitar.

Fiction: High school was riddled with one bad relationship after another... of both genders when it was obvious that girls didn't work out. Shane came to Camp Slash two years ago desperately lonely and depressed. This led to a relationship with his only cabin mate Scott (in cabin one). When they started to become serious, Shane became dependent. He longed to have Scott near at all times, had the urge to please him no matter the cost, and believed he had done something wrong when he was left alone. Scott figured this out and toyed with it, eventually seriously emotionally abusing Shane. This caused Shane to start cutting his thighs as a habit. When Scott caught him with a blade one time, Scott panicked and a fight ensued. Shane's blood was splattered all over the cabin until Scott stopped and got the nurse. Most of the campers believed it was a suicide attempt. Others feel it was just an accident. Neither of them tried to straighten out the rumors. Shane went home and laid out a year of camp in an attempt to cope by himself, because he refused to seek professional help.

Current: Now he's back to fight the demons in his head. He thinks he's emotionally healed, but has he really? And is he done cutting for good? He still hates nurses and being left alone. He can be alone; it's the leaving part that hurts him.
