I don't see Winters as a vindictive man, but boy he enjoyed saying that! AM almost feeling sorry for Sobel.

Oh, but Sobel is such an interesting guy! Disgusting, but interesting. I can't really see him as a romantic character in the traditional sense (the way I usually like my slash) but it was pretty intriguing to crawl through his head.

And please, please don't let anyone write a long AU with Sobel actually having Winters as his sex slave.

Am not kidding here. There are some really sick puppies around who'd want nothing more than to make perfectly sane and nice characters suffer till their gums bleed. Am praying there's none of them here.
