Veronica laughed softly, "There's just a difference between - in my case Logan - paying for everything or buying me a present because he wants to or it's a special occassion or something." she paused, caressing the back of Logan's hand softly, "It has been pointed out more than once that I'm too independent for my own good."

Mac nodded quickly at veronica's clarification. "There's nothing wrong with presents... I just don't want someone buying everything for me."

"Ah thanks for clarifying...American girls are bit new to me still. Things are a little different where I'm from Veronica-san," Kyo said.

Logan smirked at all the money talk. "I don't think there's anything wrong with spending a little money on your girl, but I do get the whole, not wanting to feel like, bought thing." Logan gestured toward the cars. "Speaking of spending money, are we going shopping or what?"

Kaylee shrugged at the conversation. "I don't think I would mind so much. A boy spending his riches on me."

"So we're pretty much on the same page." Veronica pointed out at Logan's comment of understanding the not wanting to feel bought. She didn't want to feel like she owed anybody anything at the end of the day.

"But yes, we should go shopping so we can come back and spend forever getting ready before we actually go to the rave..." she added teasingly.

Winry kept her mouth shut about money. It wasn't like she couldn't afford to buy things, just that Ed had more money that she did. There were reasons she and Granny called him their 'cash cow' but Ed understood that. The work they put into creating his automail wasn't done just to get payment from him but because he was Ed and he needed their help.
