So... hi! I haven't posted anything in ages. Then I was in radio silence til I finished the last Harry Potter. I enjoyed it very much. Have to admit, the climax I feel rather torn about. But really, there's no way she could write a conclusion to this series that was 100% satisfying to everyone. Though I felt the same way about Half-Blood Prince after I first read it and then totally loved it when I read it again. I don't wanna say too much and spoil anything, but anyone reading this that cares about Harry Potter spoilers will have definitely already read the book. So I'm just gonna say that while I love that it was basically the "Harry, Ron, and Hermione Show" throughout most of the thing, I wish that Ron and Hermione didn't all but disappear during the last hundred pages or so. Also, according to Mugglenet, I wasn't the only one who wasn't a fan of the Epilogue.
I think mainly I'm just bitter that it's really the end of the series.
While we're on the subject. I loved the Order of the Phoenix movie. Not surprising as it's my favorite book of the series. And still is, I'd say. When I first saw it, I was kinda unsure, but seeing it again (in a Drive-Thru no less), I decided that it was great.
The Drive-Thru was fun. Went with Brenda and Crystal Olah. I seriously have no one to hang out with here, so it meant a lot to me being able to spend time with them. A guy gets lonely.
As an update for those not in the know, I've been working at Barnes & Nobles. It's not bad, the customers aren't as annoying as Regal or Movie Gallery customers, which is refreshing. The only downside is having to stand so long in dress shoes. My feet hurt like 24-7 now.
So I've just been saving up. Not much, but I'm making money. However, in some exciting news....
"HEROES" WANTS TO INTERVIEW ME FOR A JOB!
I only just got a voicemail from them tonight. Too late to call them back, so I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see what I can set up. I'm hoping for Tuesday next week. So I got a LOT of last minute planning to do. Lemme tell you it's a good thing I got that check for $1600 from my school. 'Cause I dunno how I'd do it otherwise.
Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated... friends in LA who I can crash with... sites to get cheap plane tickets at short notice... I dunno.
