"At ngayon di pa rin alam kung ba't tayo nandito, pwede bang itigil mo na ang pag-ikot ng mundo?"

I am having a really great day, despite the hullaballoo at the EDSA Shrine.
Today, my cup runneth over. Choova choova. :) And this is my way of saying THANK YOU to the milk of human kindness that's filling the cup today, and the wonderful amazing pleasant surprises that have made me happy today. So, this is a way of opening up my arms to the heavens, just like THIS little girl:

This little girl's name is Hannah. There might be people who will recognize her from Cinemanila, but since I like her so much, I shall re-introduce her anyway. Hannah is a spunky little girl from a short animation film called "Flower Trail" that Titam, a friend of mine, created. In roughly 7 minutes, she wears her little sando and little tsinelas and goes on a ramble in the woods that leads to early disappointment. Aside from that, I think she's cute, and I like her sad little eyes in her wistful little face. Like here:

And because the Philippine Entertainment Industry has a tendency to forget or neglect) little films or projects like this (sometimes purposely, sometimes without meaning to), I wanted to just let whoever chanced upon this entry enjoy it. Hindi rin naman nila kasalanan yun, lahat naman kasi tayo, lalo na sa Pilipinas, kahit yung malalaking kumpanya, nagkakaproblema sa pera (o suporta), di ba? Nakakahinayang lang. But anyway, this is why I decided to share so people can enjoy little Hannah and the big things she has to say. (Don't we all wish that stuff like this happens more often?)

Another one of the reasons for my joy today is this:

If you can't read the scan (Wala kasi kaming Photoshop dito sa computer na ito, huwag niyo na itanong kung bakit)it actually says:

TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART (add heart cutout here)
Best rendered as a duet:
One guy to sing "Turn Around"
and one girl to sing everything else.
No. 2 Karaoke Top 10.

It's an ad for Manila Envelope magazine that cracks me up, because it's true, gadjangit. Best for people who actually know the song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in it's full-on cheese quality, and who can conjure up the sound that the ad is giving and for people who enjoy Videoke singing. We actually received the magazine I scanned it from a few days ago, but right now is the only time I've managed to scan and
share. Oh, and I really like the way the entire concept is presented on the page.

Whee! So today, let us celebrate happiness.
Despite the crap. :)

titam, ads, cinemanila, philippine entertainment, total eclipse of the heart, happiness, flower trail, celebration
