Step by step, ooh baybeh...

Yes, the Jason Mraz icons are still being worked on, I promise. I keep checking out my pictures from the concert and realized that I did get some pretty good ones after all :). Hahahaha. I'm burning the entire collection for 24fps, crumpledstar and dreamspinner_, but I will be posting the decent ones up somewhere soon.

In the meantime...

5 Songs that Jason Mraz could salvage from Cheese Hell:
1) King and Queen of Hearts by David Pomeranz
2) Step by Step by New Kids on the Block
3) Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks
4) Afternoon Delight by Starland Vocal Band
5) Got to Believe in Magic by David Pomeranz

Unfortunately, I don't think he could work "Torn Between Two Lovers" by Mary MacGregor.
Isn't David Pomeranz just the KING of Cheese? He eve looks the part. But anyway...

I sometimes get a twinge of regret everytime I think of missing out on Yam Laranas' Cinematography because of the Screenwriting Workshop which I felt was mostly a waste of time. Not that I'm not grateful for that class, because there were some REALLY good points with it, such as the chance to put up 2 plays in one semester, honing screenplay writing skills, and the shared agony with other such worthy and rather similarly unfortunate individuals who were in the same boat I was. But the very idea that I missed out on speaking with Yam Laranas is a real downer to me, because the man is brilliantly talented. I would have at least wanted to say that I was a big fan of his work.

In case you're interested or didn't know, the rights to release SIGAW, his MMFF entry last year, were given to Roy Lee (Asian-film Go-To Guy in the world of Hollywood remakes), and the film has been released in the US with the title "The Echo" and has been getting some very decent reviews. He also has a new film he co-wrote with his wife, called "The Wanting" and he's still working on the National Geographic Documentary. His recent work is the SMART commercials with Regine on them, which are gorgeous. He got to hop around the Philippines too.
