I was on YM with a friend of mine today who always seems to make sense to me.
You know, the kind of friend with whom you have a pretty good idea where you stand so you don't worry about what to say, and where when they type something you immediately want to answer because it's always fun to be talking to that person. It was just nice to be talking to someone because I'm going stir crazy at home, but at the same time, I've accepted that I am probably being impatient. (I hope). Hehehehe. But anyway, talking to that friend reminded me how much I miss school because I miss the people. (If you have to ask... tsk, tsk. :D)

I made a rambling rant yesterday about the virtues of Reality TV which I promptly "backspaced" and replaced with this entry. Because I've become a bit of a TV whore because of the pointlessness of my everyday life (which I certainly hope will be over by the end of September or I will absolutely have to slam my head into a wall), I have formed an opinion about everything I see moving onscreen. And I must admit that I am also a bit of a reality TV whore.
Because I love the kind of exploitation Reality TV signs up for. You know why? Because these people chose to be humiliated for money, though they may not have actually thought it would be so bad when they signed up to do it. It was still a perfectly rational human choice, and for some, they choose to "follow a dream" but in the end, you know what it is? It's YOUR FAULT. Because no one can be held accountable for their actions except themselves, so if YOU do something stupid, it's going to be YOUR FAULT. And besides, when your beliefs and opinions are confirmed or denied by Reality TV, it's more fun to argue out -- very rarely do you find people on Reality TV eloquent. Or smart/respectable. And when you do see them, you like them anyway...
And this was also remnants of yesterday's supposed entry, about ROCKSTAR: INXS.
As for ROCKSTAR:INXS, someone please boot that girl who's been in the bottom 3 four times out. NOW. She keeps saving herself because she does decent (note: NOT GREAT) on INXS songs when she sings them but when she's doing the normal performances, she's just completely boring. See, I don't even know her name because I just don't see how she's useful. I'm sorry, the girl don't got SOUL, brother. I don't mind Brandon being gone either, but the nameless girl needs out more.
But as for my Top 4, I still think they ROCK. And they have to be, in no particular order;
MiG, Jordis, Ty and Marty. I can't even pick a Top 5 to make a normal list because I don't like anyone else enough. JD is a good performer, but I think he's a tool, so he's out. If I were INXS I would go crazy with this guy's hypersensitivity. He's over the top and not necessarily in a good way. And he's too self-aware, and I think he over-tinkers with songs. I think Suzie's cutesy, and though she too is a good performer, I can't see her fronting INXS. Deanna's cool, but she does like to oversing (the woman's a diva, not a rockstar). Now, as for my Top 4, I can't say I actually see all of them fronting INXS (hehehe), but I'd like to see all of them till the end just because they're so amazing to watch.
